Day 275!
It's been a long time since I've blogged. I still read but have been super busy with the beginning of the academic year (I work at university).
I am on day 275. I'm loving life. I mean I still get colds, I still fret about money, I still get in arguments with my husband BUT I don't smoke :). I am proud, I smell good and I have so much more time.
Not much has changed since I last blogged. I am training for a 10k now and will run a 1/2 marathon around my 40th bday.
I have decided to get my Masters degree. It is time. It has been time for a while. The title to my blog says it all for me in a nutshell.
Quitting smoking confirmed something for me. I am strong enough, I am committed enough, and I am worth it! I get one chance at every day. One chance at that day and it's gone for good, in the history books. I want to live each of those days. Now, there will be bad ones, I will be grumpy some days, life will happen and I won't always be happy about it BUT my path is a good one.
Quitting smoking made room in my life for so many good things :). It can do the same for you.
Congrats to everyone on another smoke free day! I need to spend more time here. I get so much inspiration from others here. Thank you to the elders and Experts that help me out so much along the way.
I am on guard every day. I will protect my quit. You can't run and smoke and I have discovered a love of running and feeling awesome. I will not smoke. 🙂
