Today is my first day I am thirty five female I have to quit smoking because of my family and my health I'm going to spend much time in prayer I can do this

Hang in there ... I will say it does get better... make it through the next 3 days and nicotine will be out of your body...  I smoked for over 45 years... I am now at day 137... so I know it can be done.   It is in your mind... decide that you will not smoke... ride through the craves (they don't last more than 15 mins)... and just do it .. because you deserve it and YOU CAN!

You have made the best decision in your life to be smoke free.  Drink lots of water.  When a crave hits do slow deep breathing, get up and walk around, turn music loud, distract yourself.

The most important thing you can do right now is to educate yourself on what nicotine does to your body and mind. I, too, quit before I found this site, so I used the readings as crave busters in the early days.  I highly recommend Allen Carr's “The Easy Way to Stop Smoking.” This is an easy and entertaining read.
