It's been such a tough week, and an even tougher day. I've checked in on my countdown clock 3-4 times today to keep from smoking, and it has worked wonderfully. It even helped me reject an invitation to join one of my friends for a smoke break (she knows I'm trying to quit, but she also knows how that has gone for me in the past...I think she was really surprised to find me still not smoking). This on one of the most stressful days I've had in a while (especially since my last post in which I questioned whether I even got stressed out anymore...guess I jinxed myself).

Knowing my countdown clock is still running, and knowing you guys are all here for support have saved me and my quit today. Thank you!

Great job on protecting your quit. There will always be stress and tough days. Keep reminding yourself that smoking would not change anything - just make you feel rotten! Congrats on 41 days!!

Great job keeping your quit!  It was so hard for me to separate stress from smoking.  They really are separate but they can feel so much the same.  Not a problem anymore once I got it through my head. 🙂
