ok i heard something i never thought id ever hear from my mom

ok my lil sister is in drug rehab, and I asked my mom if it was weird I was able to quit doing drugs as well as cigs without going to rehab?  she said no and that she said she never saw me quitting cigarettes in the 15 years I was smoking them.  and my mom said she was so proud of me, so inspired she was also able to quit smoking too because if I could do it so could she.  and I thought that was really cool and I just wanted to share this with you all lol happy quit everyone!!!

What a great story. It always feels so good to hear that you inspired another person to do a good thing. On top of that, when you manage to kind of turn the tables and inspire a parent to do the right thing this is really something to be proud of.

We inspire others by our actions way more than our words.  My son quit drinking about a year after I quit smoking.  It will soon be 4 years for me and three years for him.  Way to go!  Congrats on your quit.
