Oh my help I am craving bad I haven't smoked but I'm scared to will cave in had a hard busy day at work very stressed

I hope you haven't smoked.  I'm sorry that no one was on here to help talk you out of smoking.  Smoking won't help your stress, only worsen it and then you will feel bad about smoking, too. 

Please let us know how you're doing and whether you smoked or not.  If you did smoke only one, then don't smoke anymore.  If you smoked more than one, then set a new quit date, redo all the reading you did in the beginning, and start again.  You can do this.

You've done good so far and come a long way.  So, don't throw it all away.

Also don't forget deep breaths and try to figure out how you can distract yourself when you're stressed out.  Do something relaxing, take a long hot bath, go for a walk, but find what calms you down, and remember that smoking never really calmed you down.  It realy makes your stress increase because then you have to worry about feeding the addiction on top of all your other stressors.

Happy Friday, Shannon.  We all love you on here and care deeply that you're doing OK.  Sometimes bosses and coworkers can test us on our patience to control what's going on around us.  Protect your quit.  Go ahead and vent on here.

You cannot let the " I want to smoke" thought build.
