Finally got my bronchitis kicked. And Ive lost 10 lbs. since I quit! Still want that feeling when im very emotional and frustrated or having a pity party. But especially when im angry. I actually don't get angry much but when I do.. need extra prayers this holiday season. I must resist foods and the urges to smoke. Its sad that the holidays bring stress when it should be the opposite, im tired of being the diplomat and the doormat though. 😕 thanks again for this whole site:)

My main fear of quitting was gaining cause I havent got back to the weight I was most of my life. Im hungry but type 1 diabetic so I think quittin has decreased my insulin resistance which resistance makes u gain. Iseen a statistic that smokers had more belly fat than non smokers. I hope it sticks:) and thanks 🙂

Good for you!   You are not only living smoke free you are also managing your diabetes by losing the weight.            Wish I could be as motivated to lose the weight as I am to staying smoke free!

Stay strong!

If you did gain, don't beat yourself up about it. The main thing is you quit smoking. Sometimes its not easy to lose weight and quit smoking at same time. You're doing great and your body is lovin' you.

Glad to hear your doing better.  Smoking and Bronchitis go hand in hand.  Congrats on the 10 lbs!  That is hard to do at first but is sounds like you are doing something right!

I'm pulling for you!
