Hey all-

I'm back on here after failing for about the 20th time a few months ago.  Today is day 5 w/ no smokes and I feel like giving in b/c I am sooo tired, beyond cranky, weepy, and lashing out at the ones I love.  I have listed all of the many reasons I want and need to quit, even journaling, and have always been a gym-rat/ active, but I just feel so goddamned miserable that I am about to breakdown and go buy some smokes b/c I hate the way I've felt for the entire 5 days I've been without! Any advice is appreciated, and I'm wondering why it seems so much easier for a lot of people? (I smoked about a half-pack a day for 22 years and am using the patch alternating w/ gum to quit---have absolutely no faith in my ability to go cold turkey---kudos to the warriors that accomplish that!) Thanks for any words of empathy or support-
