Description
Hi! I'm Carrie, I'm 42 and have been driving a truck for four years with my husband and brat of a dachshund. Triggers? Being awake! Seriously, after eating, when drinking and when driving (NEVER at the same time... haha!) and when around others smoking. I actually LIKE the smell of cigarette smoke. I had quit for 8 years (and would have dreams of smoking and it was oh so good... so the cravings never stopped, but I didn't have ONE drag for 8 years.) I stupidly picked them up again when I became a truck driver. Driving is really boring at times! So I'm looking for something to do with my hands besides smoking a pack and a half a day. More when I'm drinking which isn't too often since I'm only home once a month. I am so ashamed of my horrible cough and that my dear uncle who smoked heavily for 30 years, but quit, has lung cancer, yet I smoke when I'm talking to his wife, my aunt. But at the same time, I fear gaining weight... already gained 5 pounds since driving. And I'm also taking March off to diet and exercise, so not sure it's a good idea to have my quit date just before I do that. I truly fear for my health!
