Try opening the window and getting the apt or house aired out and take deep breathes of fresh air.  Yes the smell of cigarettes lingers and tempts us ( sure does me).  Headache and shaking?  Withdrawals?  Or have you been quit a while?

How long have you been quit? It sounds like time to do some laundry to get everything clean. Remember that it's not worth it to smoke now because you will feel bad about it later.

i have been quit for 10 days now.... from past experiences i would say THIS is when MY strongest urges start kicking in....i ve had to go see my parents for a week before to visit my daughter, and had to go a week without smoking...so that was no big deal, but now is when the real test begins....i mean i literally have been known to have a sixth sense for smoke when im quitting lol...i can smell smoke from 2 miles a way it seems sometimes...lol...

(((((((denabear))))))) Hang on to that quit.

This will pass...this is Temporaary!!!!!!!

Don’t Quit!

When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging seems all uphill,
When the funds are low, and the debts are high,
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest if you must, but don't you quit.

Life is queer with its twists and turns,
As every one of us sometimes learns,
And many a failure turns about,
when he might have won had he stuck it out;
Don't give up though the pace seems slow,
You may succeed with another blow.

Success is failure turned inside out,
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt,
And you never can tell how close you are,
It may be near when it seems so far;
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit,
It's when things seem worst, that
You Must Not Quit.

Just hang in there. On day 11, I became ill. I had headaches for days before and contributed them to my quit, but bottom line, I was coming down with a virus. Illness cannot be contributed to the quit, although, my Dr did say sometimes people get ill following a quit.  It was kind of a blessing as it got me through week 3 with no problems.  Just don't smoke, you are through the worse. Things get better from here on. I promise. One day at a time.
