Congrats Eleanor! Celebrate those anniversaries. Let as many people know as possible, especially your friends who still smoke. You never know, it may just stick in the back of someones head and help them to change too. Protect Your Quit.
i am too but everyday im afraid to slip. its like sometimes i never smoke, and others i wanted so much ! but when its over i am getting stronger the morning craving is still persistant :(( but it will leave me someday i hope 😛 :))
My advice get up in the morning and get busy I always put my coffee on Brush my teeth take a hower get dressed grab my coffe and take a stroll around the yard anything to get your mind out of the smoking thoughts..you are on your way I can't rember the crave now but iI kow they had to be there...Congrats on 20 hope to see you here a long time..smokefree..Hugs to you Deb
hang in there eleanor - it DOES get better in the morning. Oh gosh there were some mornings that I laid in bed thinking " I don't want to get up - I don't get to smoke"!
I did exactly what Deb (onelasttime) did - changed up my morning routine - but couldn't give up my coffee either!
It DOES get better and you DON'T HAVE TO SLIP - you just keep plowing ahead and you will be even MORE proud of yourself with each passing day! you are almost to one month - I can't wait to throw confetti for that party!
