first heavy craving!

Well today is the close of day 9 smoke free for me, and that smoking demon is trying real hard to come alive in my mind. I am wearing the patch so I have not had any physical urges, just mind games tonight. Have been a little stressed out, and feeling the blues. Normal everyday stresses, finances, job, kids, TAXES try to bring that demon awake. He keeps popping in and saying "damn I want a cigarette." Well as long as I keep my QUIT voice stronger and say" NO I DON"T WANT A CIGARETTE!!!" I can beat this battle.

Hi hun Im hitting a month.  The day I sat here and read the message boards this place has helped me a lot.  Everytime I come here I try to blog about it and all that..  I have gained weight back and done everything just to stay away from them..   but instead of telling yourself No i don't want it..   Just stand up look in the mirror and say as loud as you can I QUIT!!!!!  those two words have brought me this far.  the cravings are harsher then ever but in my mind that is all I hear is I QUIT..  You can do it hun

Stay strong you will do it. If you haven't read Allen Carr's book get it and read it. I found it really changed the way I looked at my quit. I am done forever!

Try pretzel rods for those mental cravings they helped me through.
