The subject has nothing to do with me not wanting to quit, because i do.
the problem is, insurance. They covered the first step of the patch, and i had to buy the 14mg patches for 2 weeks because the prescription didn't get sent. this time, it did, but insurance is now refusing to cover it.
My thought is, I will not pay almost $80 for patches because my doc prescribed it for a month, and she will probably do it again too for 7mg.
The problem is, that's a huge chunk of change, and I want quitting to save me cash, which it has been doing. but i don't want to have the saved cash be spent on quit aids when this book is wonderful and it makes so much sense.
So fine. my insurance won't cover the patch? then I don't want it.
A 20 pack of gum is as much as i would've been spending on a can of pouches, so no money really saved there.
I'm just not sure how to go about this other than to say I'm gonna give up on the quit aids but not give up on my quit...if that makes sense.
I am on low income anyhow and I'd rather be truly saving money than having to spend it on quit aids. I spent less on the audible book than I would on a month worth of patches, and it has helped me really change my mindset.
