Tonight  we decided to make cookies. The kids have been asking about making some for a while, so I gave in.   They are currently "In Love" with Peanutbutter Chocolate Chip cookies.  Started out simple enough. My 2 girls got out my recipe book & proceeded to tell me what they thought went in the cookies...   then my  3yr old son comes running into the kitchen(Superman Cape & all), yelling "Mom don't forget the raisons!"    I burst into laughter!!!    My kids have decided that their current favorite cookies are made from, butter, eggs, raisons & carrots!!!   OMG!!!   So I'm reading the ingredient list out loud to them & telling them that they have to put the butter, raisons & carrots back into the fridge...   That's when they inform me that we need the raisons to replace the Chocolate Chips & the carrots to replace the peanutbutter because we don't have  those growing in our garden!   What are you talking about???   Thats when it hit me, this week we've had alot of things from the garden  -  I guess they decided their cookies should be too?!?   LOL        We ended up with Peanutbutter Chocolate Chip Cookies, but the road to get there was hilarious!   All of this fun was done without ever thinking about smoking    -    How great Life is when you're Smoke Free!

Sounds like a fun day...love being in the kitchen with kids.  Had my granddaughters over the weekend.  We were making cake in the easy bake oven and I asked how much water they think we should add...one was 50 cups and one was 7 glasses, just thinking what goes through their little minds is amazing!

I'm with MissiAnn,

Treasure those sweet moments with your kids, they grow up soooo fast!!.  You know, how many sweet moments pass by in life, and we never even notice, we are so rushed, or so centered on quitting or for whatever reason.....I'm gonna try looling for some of those sweet moments starting tomorrow.....neison
