Description
I am currently a resident of Northern California. My life has been controlled by nicotine since 1988. After several attempts to quit, I felt like I was at the end of my rope. Patches, pills, and even cold turkey. Nothing seemed to help, because I always ended up putting myself into stressful situations, which always led to me lighting up. One particular life change, my divorce, was the worst hole I could fall into. I knew there were other ways to handle my anxiety, but nothing stuck for very long. I must admit I did quit for a year, due to a serious relationship I had with a non-smoker, but when that fell apart, I was a victim of the "nicodemon" once again. Every online support group I joined, didn't provide the right kind of path for me to walk. Now, with this site, I am hoping to breathe right again.
