Proud to say I made it through the day,and again without a smoke. 244 days,Holly Molly I'm doing it!!!!

Well Do you believe that I called the journalist asking when the article would be out and if I could read it before it posts.     She says"Oh it was in today's paper!" Jeeze lady you told me you would call me ahead of time for this!. Of course all I hear is  excuse after excuse........ So I go to the store and get the paper. I sort of have to say I wanted to see how the(my) photo's came out. he heeee.....I took advantage of this camera man's equipment, nice camera. I got so close to the septic etc. one could smell it. but only One photo of me with the crappiest smirk,he hee holding the bottled contaminated water i had saved. pretty nasty but looked just like it was clean fresh water....hmmm 1-photo? I practically killed myself getting the evidence of the landlords actions. I must have taken 100 photo's,of course that button was pretty sensitive. I was a little impressed with the article and hope and pray it get's the right attention. But as one of my friends here advised; I'm going to take my awesome photo's,my journal,my evidence and contact some different people.Different paper's etc. Man that backbone has made me a little too big for my britche's. ha ha. Still not giving up or giving in. N.O.P.E.   Love/peace.

I am sooooooo very sorry all this crap is happening to you Deb, I probably shouldn't have used the word crap, sorry my friend. Surely there's some sort of news station, radio station or decent honest newspaper business that would care enough to help. Anyway you don't smoke anymore so don't even let that thought be a bleep on your radar not with 244 precious smoke free days under your belt and counting, you are getting closer and closer to the 6 % club so continue on without the crutch of smoking because that's the last thing you need in your life. ((((((((((Big Hug)))))))))

That's terrible.  I AM glad that your backbone is still there and that you are not stopping with that podunk paper.  That is just not acceptable.  You have the inner strength and courage and you KNOW you have all of us.  Love you, Deb.  Sending you peace.

you can also check on what small claims court will allow.; I think it's $5000 out here.

If you don't have the monry to file, you might get a waiver from the court?

Sue them for having to live like that for a year and you could probably get $5000 in damges and have enough to move.

Along the lines of what Dale said, do you have a County renters office that adjudicates security deposits and that kind of stuff?  That might be another place you can go.

I am sorry this saga continues on.  I know I am SO proud of you for maintaining your positive attitude through it all.

I have started to print out my photo's from the start of all the digging etc. It's very painful for my neck so I have to do a little at a time. But oh baby my photo's look good. I have a new hobby now-better than smoking.....
