Take a deep breath and let the anger go. Focus on the good about quitting. These feelings will seem intense but try to hold on and focus. Walk away count to three keep blogging. Breathe and hang in there. Stay with the site sweetie
It'll do that but Dale is so right. It's smoking's fault not the quitting! Stick with the quitting! Give it time. Don't let the "feelings" deter you from your goal. It will get better!!!
Oh girl... I went back and read your blogs so far... you are going to be one of those kicking and screaming type of quits... but that is ok .. as long as you quit.
Here is my take on it ... you are MAD... really, really angry... and you know I don't blame you cause old nicodemon did a number on you ... and on everyone here. He does like to torture his victums... if he is not watching you die a slow death he plays with you especially if you are planning on leaving him (quit). But, if you can be strong and make it through hell week .. and then Heck week... it will get better. So, if you think you are angry... well, old nicodemon is throwing a fit... how dare you take control of your life and not give him the opportunity to continue to abuse and even kill you.
So be angry... get pissed... then hold tight... don't let that little jerk claim another victum. Stomp on him before he stomps on you.
Linda is sooooooooooo right if anyone is really angry right no, it is old Nic. It's okay to be angry...you are just so used to not allowing yourself to be angry...when you started to feel that way, you "stuffed" it into your cigarettes. The intensity of that anger will pass and you will find healthy ways to deal with it. Be kind to yourself.
