not sure if this will help anyone (2 days quit for me) but what i did last night was flossed & brushed my teeth during my craving....made my mouth/teeth feel clean and certainly didn't want to dirty it up!!!

i maybe doing that a lot...weekends will be tough.  at work, i feel more regimented in my "not smoking" mode.  my addiction is already telling me, it's friday...relax...you have done well....reward yourself.....gotta keep up the fight!!  good luck everyone and g-d bless!!!

That was one of the worst parts of smoking for me. That taste! Always that nasty taste. You could brush your teeth until the next morning and it just didn't seem to make any difference. NOTHING would get that awful taste out. Well, I can now say that after 256 days of not smoking, I don't have that taste anymore! I am glad you found something that works for you, that is great. BUY EXTRA TOOTHPASTE, LOL.

!!definitely keep up the fight!!  I've been doing some extra brushing myself.  I have a dentist appointment on Monday and had already planned to ask him if it's possible to brush too much!!  I'm thinking he'll recommend rinsing more often but it seems like excessive brushing might be damaging to our gums....who knows.  I'll keep ya posted.
