Hi. Things seem hard right now huh? You are thinking you want that cig, just one more. They help with stress. And you just cant take it anymore. Nobody understands what you are going thru. It is your health. It is your money buying them. Been there thought that probably even told someone that. Believe me if it can be used as an excuse I have used it. Now I am smoke free and I wonder why the hell I let myself loose control of my life. Why did I let cigs control me? I still have stresses. I still have my kids, bills and I still am alive. The thing is I learned how to deal with life. If life was so easy, it would be pretty damn boring. Like my girls sing all the time... "There's always gonna be another mountain I'm always gonna wanna make it move Always gonna be a uphill battle Sometimes I'm gonna have to lose" yes it is "The climb" by Miley Cyrus. But you know it is true. There is always going to be something or someone in our path and we have to learn to deal with things without a crutch. I know sometimes it will feel like nobody cares or understands during your quit. YOu are going to feel that everyone is out to make you smoke. That is the nicodemon trying to keep you. He doesn't want you to leave him. He needs you as much as you think you need him. There are lots of helpful people on here. Talk to them. They will help you as much as they can. Read things on here you will be surprised what will help you to quit. You will find things that might help your quit that worked for someone else. You just might read someone went thru or is going thru what you are. I promise it does get easier. In 2 days I will be quit for 1 yr. I am so happy. My hubbby will be quit for a yr on the 27. So hang on it is going to be a bumpy ride but believe me it is so worth dealing with all the bumps. I have so much more energy, breathe so much better, smell so much better the list goes on and on. Bottom line quitting smoking was hard but so damn worth it. Good luck. And remember NO EXCUSES!!!
