I hope that anyone reading this that hasn't quit yet will continue to read everything you can because there's a wealth of information here to strengthen your resolve to quit and remain quit and when you are ready to let us know you are here we will be here to help you through the rough patches and if you are struggling hang on tight because there's definitely life after cigarettes but it definitely takes time to relearn different ways of handling lifes situations without the crutch of cigarettes. Most of us Exers smoked decades upon decades, I smoked for 40 yrs and never thought in a million years that I could quit but I was willing to go through whatever cravings and roller coaster ups and downs of mood swings to get to that good place in my quit and you can and will be successful too, believe you can and you will succeed  keeping your mind occupied as well as your hands helps, do whatever is necessary to remain smoke free. N.O.P.E - means Not One Puff Ever - S.I.N.A.O - Smoking Is Not An Option - and if you have been quit awhile - N.E.F - Never Ever Forget the early days and wks of your quit  plus H.A.L.T - hunger , anger , lonely , tired ) can make our quits more difficult . I have a hard time not eating properly but I am trying to take my own advice because our quits need to be our # 1 priority whether we have been quit a wk or 10 yrs because our lives depends on remaining smoke free and vigilance is key to success and believe me when I say that the Freedom to go anywhere , anytime whenever , wherever and however without worrying about where to find a corner somewhere outside to suck on a killer cancer stick is awesome !

I'm a proud Gram of 2 grandsons and a granddaughter and I consider myself a jack of all trades and a master of none, plus I enjoy reading and being outside and since quitting smoking breathing is so much easier because I'm not coughing half of my time sucking on a cancer stick....
