WoootWooooooooooooot Feels GREAT to be alive -again-

Would you believe, I jst came back in from cutting my lawn and normally that is one task I despised doing because

1) When I was still smoking, if I was able to cut 1/3 or 1/4th of my lawn I was elated, normally took me 3 days and then the incredible hacking spells and 20 puffs from my Ventolin Inhalor.

2) Just now I came back from cutting my lawn and I was able to cut 3/4 of my gras and NO hacking/coughing fits, I DID NOT need the inhalor - just washed up - lol - still dripping sweat but that is good sweat, earned sweat.

3) I love progress and I will give the NICODEMON a run for his money - I am going to STAY SMOKE FREE

God it is good to be alive...............................Amen

Good for you!  I am so glad that you can feel the great effects that not smoking has done for you!  Focusing on the positives is the best way to stay smoke free.

Wow! That brings back memories. I used to always have a cigarette hanging out of my mouth as I mowed the lawn and then I'd wonder why I was so tired! Actually, I had a cigarette hanging out of my mouth for just about everything I did. I agree with you. It's great to be alive and to feel so free!!!

good job. i use to take brakes when i was cleaning at home and took a long time and we live in a 3 bedroom appartment.now it takes me an hour to clean:)feels good to be smokefree.

Hey Pappa.....I need my lawn mowed too!!!!  I have a nice rider....I took the ashtray off of it and replaced it with a cup holder....I could put an ice cold beer in there for ya!!!!!!LOL!   Glad things are going good for you!!!

Good for you Papa!  I too always detested the mowing!  I have a rider too (so that part was always easy), but I have a large yard that involves lots of trimming with the push mower!  UGH!  But even more exciting is that you are a NEW NON SMOKIN' PAPA who can do more than you every used to!  ENJOY THAT WONDERFUL FEELING!
