Winter

Snow, ice, and below zero temps for weeks at a time are part of life during a Minnesota winter. Last night we got home and discovered we had no running water due to frozen pipes. So we get that thawed out with a space heater, only to discover the sink in the bathroom now leaks. Shut off the water, called the repair man. Have been dealing with water problems in the  house for two days now. Very, very frustrating!

But I am happy to report that having been quit for over 1700 days, I have learned that I don't need to smoke to cope with stressful situations anymore. You know what works a lot better, just being able to tell someone about it. Thanks for listening. Don't smoke, you don't need to, no matter what life may throw at you!

Sorry to hear you have water problems. I'm wondering when our water is going to do the same. It's snowing here again tonight. Has been around -15 to -20 for 2 nights now, and looks like tonight will be no warmer. I will not light one though. We are through with all that.

Wishing you good luck on getting everything fixed.
