I was already on the patch and was looking for a list of alternatives to smoking for when I was feeling stressed. I couldn't do the program all the way through since I had already quit and wasn't about to start over. I wasn't sure about the community part either, but finally saw a comment somewhere that said the blogs were where everybody hung out most of the time. So I started reading those and now I probably check in most every morning. I can say for sure that I have been greatly helped by all the blogs and will soon be six months smoke free. I have to say the group is so right give it about 130 days and keep a good attitude and don't talk yourself into smoking. It is very important to have a plan in place for dealing with the temptation to smoke when it gets stressful or you just see someone smoking. I say I don't do that anymore or not one puff ever. It really does help. You can't win without a strategy.
