I BLEW it!!!   Last night on day 3,  I stopped to get gas and didnt even need to go into the store to pay but did NOT resist the urge or temptation and went right in like I had always done a bought a pack of stupid cigerattes.  I thought about it a few minutes on the way home but still opened them and lite one up....took just two hits off the thing and threw it out...It made me feel physically sick, nausiated, light headed, terrible taste in my mouth.  HELP!!!!!  What a disappointment I am!

Don'y beat yourself up... hey you made it 3 days without smoking and the 2 puffs made you sick...... Congrats on your 3 days and now congrats on not taking more than 2 puffs...... you are a winner!!!!! what I do is, if I have the urge to go in and buy, I clean my car til the urge passes then I get the heck as far away from the store as possibe... Just pretend the store is a fire and you have to get away....Good Luck and remember that we are here for you and thanks for being here for me!!!

Hi Linda, you're not a loser. Just shake it off, wrap your resolve around you and don't smoke another one. Oh, and if you haven't already, you should probably toss that pack. 🙂 Good luck, I believe you can do this!

Yes I tossed them...one by one threw them into the fireplace and watched them burn while thinking about how I became weak and almost subconsisously went back to my old ways!  I WILL do better!  $5 and 3 successful days up in smoke.

Consider this a learning experience. We all make mistakes and we learn from them. Keep looking forward and know that you now have one more bit of knowledge in your arsenal. Paying for your gas outside is a good thing! I'm proud of you for getting rid of the rest of the pack, that means you have your resolve back in place. You go girl!

It's really OK. Dust yourself off and get right back in there. You can do it.

Just start over Linda and don’t give up. We learn from our mistakes in life and then we go on. You will make it just stay positive. I did not make it on my first try but I did not give up I learned from my mistakes and now I am smoke free for over a year now and you can also.
