What a difference a week makes!

I've been an ex smoker for a week now!  I don't smell like nasty cigarettes!  My car smells wonderful!  I'm not out in the cold, or in the rain, sucking on a cancer stick!  I just laughed at the thought of myself huddled under an umbrella in the rain!  I noticed someone smoking outside of a store yesterday.  She was cold and as I looked at her she started coughing.  I really did feel sorry for her.  That was me only a week ago.  I am holding on to my quit like it's a life preserver, as I'm floundering in the ocean!

Life is precious.  Why did it take so long for me to start cherishing mine?  Well better late than never!

I'm just appreciative of every single clean breath I take now.  Hope others are too!

Thanks for reading

Yay on one week smoke free.   Celebrating these milestones is so motivating for your quit and it produces dopamine.

Great job autumnpepper‌!  One week is simply "awesome"!!!! That first week is make no mistake....HUGE!  I know it, because I just recently went through mine for the umpteenth time....getting to where you are at right now....many smokers "never" get to that point.  You have, and congratulations are in order.  Now, just keep doing what you have been doing for the last week, and you will keep getting what you have been getting....That is, you will continue to grow in physical and mental strength, and confidence!!!

When I quit, I was amazed at how my sense of smell had returned, and I loved it.  Stink butt smoke smell can really conceal good scents.
