What If It Ends Up Being Fun???

For anyone who has never worked at a non profit agency, let me just state that things change all the time.

For anyone who has never worked in places where people and service to them is your product......let me just state that things change all the time.

The absolutely only CERTAIN thing you can count on in any of the places I have worked is change.

When we have to make one of these frequent changes at work and every one starts to complain and point out all of the problems we had last time or state that they are thinking of quitting that they just can not take it another time...........

I always say...............................................

WHAT IF IT ENDS UP BEING FUN?????

So what if the change to the new EX platform could also be.......................FUN! ?

I know it probably won't be all fun......I'm not a little susie sunshine. I know the work and the confusion and the frustration that comes with change. BUT......still ..........I say...............what if we approached it as the possibility of FUN?????

Something new!

A challenge!

A new idea or concept or set up to explore!

A learning experience!

What IF you just made your attitude be......................HEY! This could be FUN!!!!!

Search back through the blogs of this last year........stuck in the house, same things over and over.......unable to go places or see or do new things...........

So what's the worst that could happen?

>You can't FLUNK the change!

>You won't die from the change!

Let's all just decide to take the chance that we CAN DO THIS and it might even be a bit of fun and we may make some new friends and definitely keep our old ones.
