Hey I haven't been on in a while. Actually it has been 148 days since I've checked in, sorry about that. Next week it'll be 500 days since I kicked nicotine to the curb. And what a wild 500 days it has been. I got pregnant and had a baby (now almost six months old), I quit drinking alcohol (before I got pregnant), I quit drinking soda, and I've lost 50 pounds. I quit about a month and a half before I got pregnant because I didn't want any nicotine in my system while trying to create a life.
I now feel awesome. I don't cough, I can run, I don't stnk. So to the new comers, YOU CAN DO THIS! It gets easier and you eventually won't think about cigarettes for weeks on end. In fact the only time I think about cigarettes is when I see someone smoking and think how sad it is that they have an addiction that they can get rid of if they just tried.
Take it one day at a time and you'll hit 500, then 5000 days smoke free!!!!
