Hey Ex Family,
I am 56 days free today and loving every second of it. However, I stuffed my face like crazy for the first few weeks. The good thing was that I started working out the first day I quit. Well actually I had been working out all along as a smoker, which was not fun! So much easier to work out when you have your full lung capacity! I started weight watchers a few week ago and can really see the difference. Not only do I see a difference in how my clothes fit, but I see a difference in how I think about my body. By tracking what I eat I am accountable for what I am eating. I enjoy protecting my self from putting anything harmful into my body. The planning is wonderful and I have made some pretty tasty things for my family! This morning I made the best breakfast. I microwaved 2tbs of chopped white onion and 1/4 cup green peppers with one chopped piece of turkey bacon for one min. then I added 1/2 cup of southwestern egg beaters and heated for another min. Next I broke up a piece of laughing cow cheese (the best invention ever!!) and put it into the mix and nuked it for another 1 and a half mins. It was absolutely wonderful and filling. I got this from www.hungrygirl.com (great source for healthier eating)!! It feels so good to be taking care of my body. The body is such an amazing forgiving structure that is truely a gift from god!
