WHAT IS YOUR CRAVE BUSTER?

Today since it is HOT I am using FREEZE POPS!  yay. Taste so good low in calories and last longer than a cigarette.  Darn,  I could write a commercial.  Going to get one right now to cool me down and bust a crave at the same time.

Please take a moment and let me know what some of yours are.  I may have to use them later.  Who ya gonna call.... Crave Busters. lol

I love your new profile pic and I'm jealous of your beach weather; we've had nothing but rain here in Pittsburgh!  My crave busters are tootsie pops-not very many calories and similar size as a cig...Oh yes, and I have 43 days quit today, Yay!

You are looking mighty fine, Ms. Jackie!

I used frozen Hershey Kisses in the early days of my quit.  Not so much anymore - but one is actually quite good with a cup of coffee or after a meal.  How can it NOT be?  It's chocolate!!

Nice pic. looks like you are at boardwalk or waterfront! Slogans and small sips of icy water for me! Freeze Pops sound real good!!

In the beginning, I used sugar free mints and raw carrots and celery sticks. I really don't use anything anymore but like Nancy I love my chocolate and I love your new profile pic.

Can't do them it hurts my teeth ! I do like klondike bars though they are not really crave busters just a treat !

I have had a hard time finding crave busters that do not give me csnker sores I chewed on piece of gum last week for just a few minutes and by the next day I had a sore on my tongue !

Good thing my craves are not so often anymore so if and when  I do get one I still rely on my cut up straws !

Deeply steeped green tea.  Was a bit bitter and killed a craving quick.  Also good for curbiing one's appetite.

Gorgeous new pic!

Believe it or not, I really like frozen grapes and bananas. My Grandma use to make us banana pops to help beat the summer heat. She'd cut bananas in half, stick a popsicle stick in the flat end and wrap in saran wrap or foil. Freeze for a few hours.... delicious! You could dip them in chocolate too... if you're a chocolate fan.

I'm going to try Freeze Pops! I had to be look them up to be honest. I've always known them as "Freezies" up here.  Weird how names of products are different depending on where you live. 🙂

One of mine that works 8 out of 10 times for me are lollipops. Had to have a long talk with my kids so they didn't keep asking for them but they understood because they're all on the bandwagon routing for their mom. I get ones that are slightly bigger than tootsie pops and they have plastic sticks so if by the time I'm done with the lollipop, the craving hasn't gone away, I start chewing on the stick

Great idea! I reach for sugarless butterscotch candies for a quick fix.

I have been quit for six days now. Hope the cravings will become less with each passing day.

Jolly Ranchers and baby carrots are working for me so far (9 days). White knuckleing it this morning though for some reason. Today is starting off bad.

Since I have quit, I have *really* enjoyed sweets more then I used to, and spicy food. Oh god, I never knew how much I LOVED cilantro. Mmm, it makes my mouth water, just thinking about it (also, close to lunch time 😉

Squares of  chocolate, trying different cheeses and sausages. Finger foods. Mmmm.

I always meant to share my crave busters.  In addition to some of the above, I have a bottle of hot sauce that I'll just take a swig out of!  I'll also drink a shot of apple cider vinegar.    I also like ranch flavor corn nuts.   Finally, a handful of M & M's, one at a time, til it melts in my mouth!!  A small handful can last forever!!

Atomic Fireballs. They take quite a while to consume and they really do the trick!! 40 calories per candy so they can add up fast, but they are what got me through and I still go to when I get a crave. 1yr and 9months without a smoke!!!! Yea!!!!!
