Share your quitting journey
Hello everyone and I want to say welcome to all the new quitters. Everyday I see more people joining and quitting the terrible addiction of smoking. I want to welcome each and everyone of you and tell you how great it is that you have made the decision to quit something that is killing people everyday. You will need to educate yourself about the power the addiction has but as you do that you will discover you are more powerful that the addiction. You have the option to say N.O.P.E. NOT ONE PUFF EVER. I read Allen Carr's book the Easy Way. Also I like whyquit.com and I am sure others can suggest different reading material. The important thing is you have made the commitment to quit. Honor that commitment for this day and then the next day and before you know it you are a non smoker. It is easy, yes and no. For those truly commited to NO smoking for any reason it is easier than you think if you have a plan. Having a plan comes from educating yourself on addiction.I would not be where I am today( 684 days smoke free) without EX and the "elders" here. Listen to their advice even if it a kick in the rear if you need it, the advice works. Lokk at me a smoker of 50+ years with a hundred(maybe not quite that many) failed quits. I now have a FOREVER quit and you can also. Please join the path to FREEDOM, it is found at EX.
