Virtual Reunion - EX 8

The date/time of Sunday, July 26 at 6:00 PM (EST) has been selected for our virtual EX 8 Zoom gathering! So - MARK YOUR CALENDAR! 

For the past several years, we have gathered informally for a reunion. It has been an amazing experience for each EX’er who has attended! Unfortunately, we had to cancel EX 8 which was scheduled for May in Virginia Beach. We have decided to do a virtual EX reunion on Zoom! 

We will need to ask people to sign up ahead of time in order to properly plan for this event. When we have the list of people attending, Mark will send you an email with the details needed to join on Zoom. You can sign up here in this blog. As long as you would like your invitation to go to the email you used to sign up for EX, that is all you have to do. However, if you would like to have the invitation sent to a different email address - please send me a private message with that email. (DO NOT post email addresses here.) 

This will be an informal event - just as our “real” reunions have always been. If you need any instruction regarding adding the Zoom app on your PC. Laptop, tablet, or phone - just let me know and we will get that info to you. It is best to add that app before the meeting.

The folks listed below are a part of the planning committee for the reunion - so, if you have any questions or concerns, please let one of us know.

It was a grand event tonight at the virtual 2020 reunion! I extend a sincere thank-you to all the organizers, including Mark! It was neat to "see" my co-members" face to face" and to hear your voices. Also, the games were great, the laughter was a balm to my soul,  and I came away with an even more positive impression of my new EX family!  It was a totally enjoyable evening! 

And, Giulia sang  !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a wonderful thing it was to be able to meet so many folks last night at the virtual gathering!  You have now "come to life" for me in a way the our normal interactions can't make that happen.  Maybe we can do a virtual reunion once a year in addition to the in-person one you have traditionally held. This would allow those whose schedule or budget prevent them from traveling to meet you terrichic EXers.  Thanks again to all who planned and led the event!

Dave - It was a wonderful evening! So great to meet you and the other “first timers” to a reunion - and to see our other EX friends who we have met at previous reunions! I LOVE this idea of doing both next time....thanks!

It was fun, thank you the organizers, it was good seeing elders I met last year in VB, but also the newbies who attended!

Maybe we could meet more often, if Mark could make it happen for us! 

We could select one challenge which seems to impact the majority of newbies, and maybe even elders, triggers, and solutions, and have a smaller discussion, with only those interested to learn, and to impart learning?  Just a thought!

I am SO sorry I missed it! I was running Saturday morning with my phone in my pocket and it got fried!!! I wish I was bragging. I wish I was exaggerating. But my sweat killed my phone. 

My phone is my personal assistant. With it's loss, I retreated to the woods Saturday evening, untethered to the universe (aka the internet) and opted to stay there until late Sunday evening.

My new phone arrived this morning to tell me all the things I missed. Including meeting with all of you. Boo for me. Like double boo.

What unfortunate timing with your phone, Kelly.  Sorry you missed it. It was my first time, and it really was good to hear the voices and faced behind the print we see all the time.  Hope we can have another event like this sometime soon so that we can meet you.  Hope all is going well for you!
