While I have 4 years and used the Internet sites to help me quit, my husband did not but he is a little over 6 months now!!!  Quite honestly, if you're out there and struggling just remember if we can both do it so can you! We were both long term smokers over 20 years and I had 2 packs a day and he was 1 1/2 packs a day!  Believe in yourself!!! Everyone quits differently, yours will be unique too !

Yes we can do what you have done! And the first step is to believe in ourselves! There was no easy button when you quit, and that is still true today! We must find a desire to take back out time, and our money, and our very lives, from this nasty addiction! You are an EXcellent Example of what can be done if you believe, and lead by EXample! The proof live in the house with you!

Thanks!  I just thought I'd stop by and update on my husband 6 month success!  I don't come here really because it's not and hasn't been a struggle for me in a very long time! Basically I don't think about it and I really don't want to think about it again so that is why you don't see me here but I will stop in from time to time probably January when my husband will be one year smoke free but of course wish everyone the best in their quits and hope they know it's worth it!!
