The furthur up our count clock goes, the farthar away those cigarettes go.  Protect the quit at all costs.  I love reading the blogs.  No matter how frustrating the day is, or how nice the day is, it empowers me not to smoke and that is an amazing feat.  I just can't beleive the progress.  Not just on twelve days plus of not smoking, but my breathing is better, the quit-smoking instructor said my complexion is a lot better, I feel happy about the choice, I have a reason to rejoice everytime I beat a crave.  I have something possitive to share with others, I can be of some support to others...the list just goes on and on of all the benefits.  Not to mention not putting those nasty, filthy, chemically filled things in my mouth and enhaling...did I really do that?  Protect the quit.  I truly beleive me making that my most precious thing in my life right now has helped me not to smoke.  I haven't even cheated.  Only had two days where the crave was really bad.  It does get better.  I know I'm not over the hill with it yet, but I'll just keep reading, blogging, and before you know it, I will be in the three-digit club!  Congrats to all of you and Thanks.

Isnt it amazing how well your body can feel and recover in such a short period of time. I am excited to see what a month of quiting and 3 months and a year of quiting has to offer. I think we will all feel like new people.  Enjoy your quit.

You are so right - hitting 100 days will happen quicker than you think! Doing one day at a time - the days just keep adding up! Congrats!!

I am so proud of you girl.....just look at cha :))))))). I remember the day I joined the group. It was last Thursday, yours was the 5th or 6th blog I read. I have to admit...I was worried about you. You were so worried about the trip to the store for your meds, yet I could sense a strength underneith that I just knew was gonna get you through, and here you are, still clean at 12 days. I'm so so happy for and proud of you Zina. Protect the quit. N.O.P.E. !!!!!!!
