Two weeks (DFS just made my day)

So today is two weeks of being an non-smoker. The last two days have been so stressfull. I had to contact DFS on the emergency hotline, because my 6 year olds mother has had a heroin addict staying at her house. this is her boyfriend who was recently incarcerated for child abuse on one of her other kids. She was forbidden by the state to see him or have him around the kids (she has 4 with 4 different dads and one on the way) after this happened the last time. This time he was wanted by the sherriffs dept, so when I called, they went to her house (6 sherrif cars) busted in the door with guns drawn, to find that he had left. DFS took all of her kids and placed them with her sister. Today I was able to get Saras (my daughter) custody switched over to my name. Her mom isn't allowed around us except for one hour supervised visits each week.

Holy crap. I never once wanted a cigarette through out the whole thing.

Wow, that sounds like a bad situation. Glad to hear you're making it through with no cigarettes. Stay busy and keep it that way! Good luck with everything.

That is a lot of crap to have to deal with! especially in an early quit. Congratulations for being strong and not smoking! And you got your little girl!!
