A bit of comic relief for us all. Just to let you know, that is a shaw to an ugly bridesmaid gown. I thought it really improved the dress like this.
My soon to be brother in law offered me a pack of menthols today, because he thought I was the only person around who smoked them. You should have seen his face when I told him that I didn't need them! I looked him in the eyes and said, "Jr., It's been four days without a cigarette and I don't think I want one." I guess I had forgotten to tell him that I was quitting but he was really surprised. His son, who is a nonsmoking advocate, came and gave me a hug, He seems to be very relieved that I won't die anytime soon. lol. (He's only seven)
Unfortunately, that was my high point today. I had horrible headaches all day long and snapped at Chris for no real reason. I feel like a jerk, but I guess this is part of the temptation that made me go back last time. I used to get fed up with the withdraw symptoms and revert back to my old ways, but not today. Not tomorrow. I will keep going. It's been four days and I've saved $12. I haven't smoked 40-ish cigarettes. I know I can do this. We all can.
