Trying to get through a hard time

I set my quit date for 21 days ago.  I was doing pretty well, managing, proud of myself.  I had read a post from someone who was going through a difficult time and they went back to smoking.  At the time I knew and know that smoking wasn't going to cure what ails but people do what they have to do.  Since then I've been having some physical issues and finally broke and bought a pack of cigarettes out of sheer distraught emotion.  My first reaction was disappointment in myself and the disappointment my daughter will feel.  I knew the cigarettes aren't going to cure what is going on or even make it better, but it's what I know.  I am committed to quitting.  So I have changed my quit date to tomorrow.  I know I can do this, the time I wasn't smoking was so freeing! I didn't have to search for that few minutes to stop & smoke.  My little girl was so happy about it as well.  I have no intention to buy any further cigarettes and I know I will get through this time and they aren't going to make it better.
