What the H??? Has anyone noticed some of my messages disappearing at night?? That would be my Bi-Polar's fault!! Went to my 'shrink' today and told her that I'd been having trouble sticking to the subject, forgetting words, and changing subjects in the middle of a sentence!! Well, SHE up and changed my meds again!! ONLY one but it was a biggie!! We'll see!! I just called her to tell her that I had been on it a long time ago when I was in the psych ward, and it DID NOT AGREE WITH ME!!! They're going to call me back.

This time , I'm NOT going around telling people that I quit smoking like I've done in the past. I'm letting them notice. It's much more fun this way. Today is my 21st day w/o a sickerette. Big deal, you say!! BIG DEAL when you say 3 DADGONE WEEKS!! YESSIR!! MISS CANDY (I do prefer Candy) HAS 3 FABULOUS WEEKS!! Thank you for all your help, encouragement, and support!!! AND YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!!! Thank YOU from the bottom of my pea pickin' heart!!!

Hi, Candy I hope it isn't seroquel. That's what I have been on and it's responsible for the mass mad weight gain and sleeping too much and perhaps some of this sadness, I have been having. I cut the dose in half a few days ago and I am already feeling better. I will stay where I am for a bit but then I am done with it! I have tried Lithuim too. I am allergic to it! It makes me shake real bad! I'm giving it to GOD!

I am so happy for you and your 21 outrageously fabulous days and it does seem like more when you say 3 weeks! (I remember saying 21  DOF= 3 weeks). You are doing a fantastic job on your quit!! Congratulations!! MISS CANDY! and I just love your "pea pickin' heart!"

Congrats on your 3 weeks Candy girl  !!!!

I try to stay away from meds ....they cause reactions and then often times another med is added to relieve the symptoms of the first med and on and on it goes until one is taking many meds all because of the negative reactions !

The only meds I take quite regularly are ibuprofin or tylenol for pain so be careful when your physician wants to add more meds .....IMHO

Good for you, Candy, on three weeks!  That's fantastic!  Good luck with the meds!  Will be seeing a psych for the first time in January and am hoping med adjustment will help with the long, bleak depression.
