Today iam seven months smoke free,this blog is to all my friends and this site,you all have been a blessing to me ,to quit smoking was something i wanted to do but i did not have the courage to quit,and when i found this site to help me quit.and now iam seven months smokefree,it have not been easy,that when i turn to you all for help and advice you all have help me in so manys ways.thanks to all my friends gor checking in on me and this site for the blogs i read everyday.so many people on this site have help me as i read their blogs or comment. there is no turning back for me.

Congrats!!! And I feel the same way about this site. I am only on day 5, but I get on here multiple times a day. This site is truly a blessing. I'd be lost without it for sure,although everyone probably thinks I'm an emotional nightmare:) Im hoping they can relate:)

About me: Smoking was my addiction for 35yrs yes this habit had a hold on me that i could not break (so i thought) my children my grand begs me to quit smoking ,i wanted to but just thinking of not smoking made me very sad, what was i going to do ?how is iam going to make it without a cigarettes,just the thought of quiting made me sick. i have chronic back pain (very bad) my doctor always told me if i wanted to feel better i had to quit smoking,but that was soooo hard for me to do ,in January i said no more smoking ,so i cut back on smoking for a week ,trying to quit and on January 18,2009 i smoke my last cigarette,and found this site ,to help me stay smoke free ,so i need all the help ,support,encouragement and friends to stay smoke free
