Today is the day

I smoked 4 cigarettes yesterday. I was able to get through the drive home. 22 blue cars Dale 🙂 That really helped. I see how valuable a plan is for when the cravings hit. I feel really good about myself and my quit today. This is it!!! It dorsn't help that my husband smokes and is trying to quit too. He smoked his "last" cigarette this morning. I hsave faith in myself and want to feel the freedom of being a nonsmoker again.

If you have any access you may be tempted.

Don't risk it!

Also, you might have your husband read my page so he knows what to expect and doesn't give up early because he doesn't know any better..

You can do this...the first day is so important because once it is over...you have really started.  So proud of you and happy for you.  I absolutely recommend having your husband read Dale's page and know what to expect and how to help you and himself. You can do this, I really hope that there will not be any cigarettes or things associated with them in your home.  Hope your husband sticks with this, it would be a gift for BOTH of you!  Just remember that no matter what...YOUR quit is yours and HIS quit is his...you do not go down together..if one of you slips, it does not mean the other one has to follow.

How is it going today?   Just remember... you can't quit and smoke.

I hope it is going well. Have nooo cigs in the house or car or other accessible places!!! If Hubby does not quit please ask him to help you by keeping them out of sight. Soooo important!!

I asked my husband not to bring any in the house. He is very supportive. Unfortunately he won't read Allen Carr's book or get any spport from this website. He usually gets over smoking by continuing to chew. I tried to explain that they both have nicotine and both harm his health but he continues to chew. Hopefully he will get it one of these days.

Good decision - don't let your husband's progress (or lack of it) affect YOURS. Two separate people...  two separate quits.
