Today is the Day

Today I bought some nicotine gun and patches. Put the patch on around noon and 2 hours later still haven’t taken a hit of the juul. Pretty incredible. Had to move my quite date because I wasn’t ready on the 25th of October. Today is the beginning of my new life!

Be sure to delay and distract and use the gum only as a very last resort.  It is meant as a stop gap to taking a hit - and not just to keep you 100% comfortable.  If you stay busy, this will be easier.   The reason I caution you about the gum is that, if you use it for every puff you used to take from the Juul, it is easy to become addicted to IT!

Congratulations on your decision to quit.  It's one you will never regret.  You might keep the money you are saving in a separate place (even just slips of paper with the amount not spent).  That way you can watch it grow, and spend some time dreaming about what ELSE you can do with that money!!! Makes a good incentive if the going gets tough.

Day one went well. Actually after I put on a patch about 20-30 minutes later I didn’t have a craving for a good 4-5 hours. When I did, I used the garage.
