A busy day yesterday drove over to Chippewa Falls and I found a place and can move in May 1st. So that is a relief. Today is my Birthday. My brothers was March 22nd so I am driving up to his place tomorrow and staying the night to celebrate both our birthdays. I make a killer buttermilk chocolate cake with ganache so am making that today for tomorrow
Had several cravings yesterday due to all the stress/anxiety of deciding on the place. Nicotine certainly is an odd addiction. It screams "I will save you just take a puff and relax". Which is the biggest oxymoron as the fear of the emotional guilt outweighed taking the puff.

My husband will be going out to till up some more of the garden. I am trying to get organized and I kinda don't know where to start. I need to finish my taxes, that's one thing....sometimes my thoughts just race and I can't pick one thing, so I do nothing which is not good either. "Get your act together", I tell myself. I was gone for almost 2 weeks and I want to do everything at once and it just doesn't work that way. Enjoy your day today.
I am old and grew up waaay out in the country. Not only did we have a rotary phone, but our number was Cockeysville 422, and when you picked up the phone, you got an OPERATOR to place your call!

Here's a throwback Thursday of Adam now 20, Mason now 15 and Emma 21, Mason wasn't quite 2 days old! I'm holding him when he wasn't even a day old then Gramp holding him the day he came home at 3 days old WOW talk about a throwback Thursday! So many precious memories!
I'm a proud Gram of 2 grandsons and a granddaughter and I consider myself a jack of all trades and a master of none, plus I enjoy reading and being outside and since quitting smoking breathing is so much easier because I'm not coughing half of my time sucking on a cancer stick....
