Okay, this is the 3rd time I am trying to type this without hitting the wrong buttons, I can't think right, I have cried most of the day, I am dizzy as can be, all I want to do is sleep..The keys on my pc are all fuzzy, I am walking into walls...lol

This is horrible & is it normal? This STINKS

But I am not going to give in I am NOT GOING TO SMOKE

I would sleep as much as you can. This will get better each day, just keep kicking the craves out the door. If it gets to bad, blog and get rid of your frustrations, don't worry about typos I do them all time. I spend more time correcting than typing.

OK...try this....put a rubber band around your wrist....when you get the urge to smoke you "snap" the rubber band, then you take a "sip" of water and then you "breathe"....take up to 10 deep breaths....not all at once, you don't want to hyperventilate!!!! I call this "snap, sip breathe"....it works!

You need to take a break, soak in a hot bubble bath, I have done it numerous times, i too still get sticky fingers, if you only knew how manytimes i have done it this month. I sometimes laugh at my mistakes, and ask if i need a refreshers course on spelling. Even i now forget where i put anything, but i shrug it off.  Yoga is a good exercise, meditation is another. Try to get as much shut eye tonight as possible, you will feel refreshed come tomorrow. I do agree with carol on the deep breathing, but do it slowly.

Relax Terry, you're doing fine...get a nutritious snack for now. You're not going to heal in on day,lol....I used to walk into a room and forget why and I did that for about 2 weeks...LOOK for your sense of humor in this whole thing...JUST DON'T EVER think your not strong enough, cuz you ARE!   Use these food ideas and SLEEP....

Keep your blood sugar up by eating 2 or 3 bite meals

 

5 or 6 times a day.

 

2 bites of protein and some fruit...the protein will hold it up longer after

 

the fruit lifts it. Peanut butter/banana, almonds/orange, granola or energy bar/apple.

 

....How to gain weight without showing it -------> keep smoking. A pack per day smoker will accumulate a cup of tar in his/her lungs each year. I think that I'll stick to not smoking and exercise.

I find when you quit smoking it really messes with your blood sugar.  Fruit juice first thing in the morning works good. Or whenever you feel dizzy.  Lots of deep breathing exercises too.

you will be fine, it is normal, i could not think either, i slep about 9 hrs a nite, one dayat a time.   you are doing great

Terry, Stop walking into them Walls and give yourself a diversion...  Anything interesting on TV, deep breaths, have a good video around????  I'm saving a Steve Martin video for tomorrow or whenever I need diversion.. Also, thinking about ordering those Steak tips, salad and fries for supper tomorrow night if I get crazy hungry... My neighbor who crochets is using the E cig. and I tried it today (very sanitary)... I'm not tempted by it... Very strong and still putting something ??? in your lungs...She's also smoking real cigs. in addition. I thought "now how smart is that???"  We're going to be healthy!!!  Maya
