When will these withdrawal symptoms subside? If I can get through this I think I will be o.k. I'm doing pretty good with the mental part but the physical sucks! Why did I ever start smoking in the first place!?!. Oh I know, because everyone around me smoked. I thought if you can't beat em' then join em'...stupid! Lord just let me get through this and I will not pick up another smoke! I am physically sick! This sucks!!!!!!! O.k, rant over, lol.

Rant away to heart's content, eclectic! Within 72 days, nicotine is supposed to be out of your system, hence real healing will be beginning now. It sure starts getting better from here on. Remember all the cliches - one hour at a time, not one puff ever etc. They are all really true.

Its a huge achievement. Keep going.

Thank you! It's rough but I'm gonna do it! I don't want to go through this again.

just keep that in mind and you will not, the first week is rough, the third day , some say is the roughest, drink plenty of water and fruit juice to detox your system faster, try some cinnamon toothpicks or sunflower seeds, take a brisk walk when you feel antsy and my fav, punch a pillow or throw things like pillows or something you don't particualrly like until you feel a little better., blog, play games, I listened to music and danced too:)

The first 3 days were the worst for me, and Im on Chantix. Once you get through them though it gets somewhat easier. YOu just have to focus! I am on Day 10 and I feel great! Like a new person and just knowing Ive gotten this far, helps everyday a little more! YOu can do this! You really can!!! I promise! GREAT PROGRESS FOR YOU! Congrats!

Day three is a big one... hang in there. Take it minute buy minute, hour by hour. When those cravings hit... get up and do something. I even just go watch the clouds float by for a few minutes. Most the time those cravings will only last 3 or 4 minutes. Remember to BREATH. And, yep drinking the juice helps.
You're doing great, hang in there!
