The time to quit was yesterday but today is a good day to quit too

Yesterday we began emptying the house that we grew up in, the house my mom just could never give up. House of memories. She was not willingly to give it up until a painful, scarey situation with potential death happened to her. It is so sad that it took this event before she was willing to move to a place that provided a safe environment but still allow her independence. She still does not “want to” but she knows now she needs to. She is doing this in a very positive mind set, looking at all the positives it will bring. This reminded me about smoking. A slow causing death  but difficult to give up but with willingness and not necessary  “want to” can be done, add a little positive attitude to the freedoms that being a non smoker gives and you are on your way...........
