Two weeks in to my quit and the intensity of withdrawal; For me feels physically painful.

Cant remember feeling like this.
The days feel like day mares.
It is crazy to have such pain in my mind.

I sympathize with you Kim. Withdrawal for me felt the same way. I felt like I had the worst flu while being continually kicked around like a soccer ball. I wanted to throw up all the time and had the sensitivity to light and sound like having a migraine.  All I could do was sleep, albeit not well. It always lasted about two weeks or so. Somehow I would pull myself through. Then I eventually started smoking again knowing I would have to quit again at some point. But knowing what hell quitting put me through I'd smoke anyway. And the vicious cycle would start again.  The definition of insanity.

I know this hurts. I know this is hell. I know you are wondering why in the world you are putting yourself through this. I know you want to smoke to get rid of the pain. I also know that you can get through this and come out the other side better, stronger, happier, and healthier. You're so close to the physical addiction being over that I'd hate to see you give in.

If you stay strong now you will be stronger later! Keep up the hard work and protect that quit that you've earned.

How are you feeling today Kim?   I'm sorry you'll feeling so  bad.  As you know, I didn't experience all these physical symptoms.  Not that all the emotional distress was fun.  I know it doesn't seem fair--you quit smoking, you should feel better not worse.  Take care of yourself right now.  Listen to what your mind and body needs and indulge yourself.   Just don't smoke.  You know it will take some time, but you're getting through the worst part.   I'm glad you staying close to the Ex.  We're here to help.
