Read alot of the material and websites everyone shared.  And Divine intervention happened to me today.  1.  My 8th cig is the last one in my last pack.  2.  If I quit tomorrow I can deal with the worst of my withdrawl while NOT at work.  3.  I think this is a sign!  Wish me luck and strength!

Thanks again!!

You can do this! Keep reading and studying, blogging and commenting, you will be fine. Be ready with lots of water and some fruit juice. Some healthy snacks like raw vegetables can help too. Honor yourself by honoring your decision to quit. The freedom is great.

Stick with your quit and stick with this site.  I've seen a lot of divine intervention around here.  Believe it!

You do need to do your reading though, it is very important.  Education is key to your success!  I've listed just one, below.

Congrats on making the Right decision. You can do it, I did & I'm as stubborn and pig-headed as they come!!! LOL!!! It'll be tough but we'll be here for you just like everyone was here for me the first 5 days. YES, IT DOES GET EASIER!!! I am now on Day 12.

Email if you need a sounding board!!

Thank so everyone,  Yes, I've been to Whyquit.com.  This is my second quit.  I did quit 20 years ago and stayed off for 3 years!!  I don't remember it being that bad.  Yes I remember constantly thinking about smoking at first and then it fading off.  Then again I was younger and hadn't been smoking for that long!  I have done most of my preparation but sadly not all.  I have a stubborn Irish nature and yesterday, despite my not having everything ready, I decided this was it!  God was telling me something and despite MY plan I would listen to HIM!!  Worked for my last time I quit!!

13 hours no cig!  Have thought about it be no overwhelming, white knuckles, screaming fits yet!!

P.S.  Warned my son that if he didn't want to end up living in his truck he had better keep his dishes up at home.  That drives me crazy!!  And I may not be able to control myself from an Irish Fish Wife rant and screaming fit!!  How long to you think I can hold I'm quitting over his head???  Would be nice not to come home to dishes in the sink most days!!  LOL
