Ten days

In ten days it will be my quit day, I don't know but maybe I'll be out of tobacco by that time if not I'm giving it away.  I wont be completely nicotine free because I have a nicotine subtitute.  I'm looking forward to it, I'm ready.  Working on my quit plan to put some time between my smoking so I'll be use to not picking up and also hoping my tracking will decrease the amount  I smoke because I've been smoking like a choo choo train and is so out of breath. I want my breath back.

As you go forward, don't reduce your smoking to five or less per day.  Doing so puts you in constant withdrawal unnecessarily.

I hope you are doing the recommended readings?

You said, "Looking forward to it, I'm ready" ..... that's most of the battle right there .... the nicotine leaves the body quickly .... the quit is in the mind, and it sounds like you are getting in the right mind-set .... Way To Go!!!!!

Yes.....You want your breath back, of course.....you have that improvement to look forward to.....I think you are going to like this, you wil do very well.....I believe in you : )

You know, I looked over the book Easy way to quit and when I did I dissagreed about  smoking fewer cigs cause smoking few gives me more breath but since you said increase in withdrawal and friend said increased craving I think I'll look it over again to give it a chance.

Thanks.

The only thing I can add is to read the book again. Let what Alan says sink in. I had been smoking for over 50 years and I can tell you that his book helped me. I can't tell you how many times I read the book. Whenever I was having a tough time, I would go back and either reread it or go to certain passages or chapters I had marked. Give it a chance, I'm sure it will help you

Don't forget to go to Jonescarp's page and read his blog.  Very easy reading and will mentally prepare you to your journey.
