Sweating it out!

Wow!  All I can say is if you want to not only get your mind off of your quit or  just life in general, not to mention sweat out every ounce of nicotine that may be left in your body, along with any other toxins, take a Hot Yoga class!!!  I took my first one tonight....Spent 75 minutes in a room over 100 degrees with about 20 other people....I actually survived!  My breathing was good, and I made it, but I can honestly say that if I had still been a smoker, there is no way in hell I would have made it!  My heart was pounding so fast as it was....My breathing still has room for improvement, however....I have made a commitment to myself to go to a class three-four times a week....Wish me luck!  My new addiction is fitness! 🙂

The after affects of the class is awesome...I feel so calm and relaxed....great way to get my head clear....I needed it, especially today...I received a call from my doctor...apparently the mammogram that I had last week, my very first one might I add, came back with a shadow or something "questionable" on it....I am being sent for an Ultrasound, which my doctor assured me was strictly precautionary, but still...scary....Here I finally take the steps to quit smoking, get healthy, schedule my physicals and get myself all checked out, and the very first test I do is "questionable"....The reason I share this with all of you is not to get sympathy, but to let you know that in the past, the first thing I would have done upon receiving that type of news was smoke....I can honestly say that the thought to smoke never even entered my mind! In the past, it would have been a great excuse to start smoking again...so just the fact that I didn't even consider it, tells me that this time may be "the one!".

Day 29 and never looking back!
