Survived Day Two

I survived day two without too much problem. Today is another story, struggling to focus, craving a cigarette and feeling pretty low. I hate that this addiction has controlled me for the last 19 years. I smoked when I was in college but then quit for over 10 years when I was 21. It was so much easier back then as I don't think the habit was as established as it has become now. I was physically addicted but overcame that quickly. Now just getting through this a day or hour at a time.  I want to be free from this addiction and feel healthy, happy and confident in myself. I have been ashamed for so long-hiding the smoking from most people. It feels good to write about it and share what I am going through. I will keep trudging and use my plan for triggers. Someone mentioned mixing up your routine and I have been **bleep** It feels good to write about it and share what I am going through. Thanks for all the kinds words and support-it is really helping me!
