Ugh, where to even begin?? So I quit smoking a little more than 3 years ago, and was quit for about 4 months. Then I gave in, smoked, and never looked back. It was like one little smoke was all it took for me to get back to being a full pack a day smoker. So now I am back again. My new (and hopefully forever) quit date was Nov 29th. I am doing well so far, kinda broke all the "rules" for quitting this time. Didn't plan for it, make a start date or anything like that. I just ran out of cigarettes and decided not to buy more. I'm not telling anyone I have quit, just telling people "I am not smoking today" because quitting forever seems overwhelming. I am using some nicotine gum, and that helps with the worst of the cravings. Anyway, I am back here because I remembered all the support I got here last time and figure it couldn't hurt to have a few people in my corner this time. Thanks for being here!
