Hey Quitters! We are surviving the crazy blizzard in Chicago. It's been 3 weeks and 6 days since I became an EX! My sis was stuck on Lake Shore Drive from 5 pm til 4am - 60 mph winds, snow, thunder and lightening. It's been kinda nuts. I so wished there was something I could have done to rescue her. She is home safe now. Whew.
For the most part, all is going well, although this past week has included some intense cravings. I've stayed smoke free. On last Sat, my bf was outside smoking a cigar after a long dinner, and I was staring at him from inside like a starved animal. I even tried to banter with him, saying 'I could just hold the cigar, and put it to my mouth, since you don't inhale cigars right?' He told me to go away, and I retreated with my tail between my legs, but happy for his tough love.
So here I am, still standing smoke free and chilling inside today as we hunker down through this storm.
